Very nice forest area - partly old trees, quite mixed in character depending on where you are and a bit hilly. The only downside is the rectangular, dead-straight paths.

The Reichswald or Rijkswoudis a sloping forest area between Kranenburg, Kleef, Goch and Bedburg-Hau in
North Rhine-Westphalia along the Dutch border with the 95 meter high Rupenberg as the highest peak.
It has a total area of approximately 5100 hectares and is therefore the largest coherent nature reserve in the Lower Rhine region. Various species of mammals live in the forest, including red deer, roe deer, wild boars and badgers.
