The footbridge over the Elbe side canal connects hiking trails on both sides of the canal and thus offers good opportunities for hikers.
From the bridge you have a wonderful view of the canal.The canal connects the Mittelland Canal with the Elbe and is 115.14 kilometers long. The canal was opened to traffic on June 15, 1976.

Several bridges span the Elbe side canal. Practical: All of them have stairs leading up, so you don't have to climb up the embankment. Someone thought about it.👍🏻
