The Bienenbüttel station is on the Hanover – Hamburg railway line.

March 6, 1848, the train service to Bienenbüttel began.

The current station building was erected in 1938/39. In 2005 the station underwent an extensive renovation. The renovation also included the installation of elevators to the connecting tunnel. The station building is no longer used as a train station, but has been converted into a restaurant.

Today, trains from the metronome connect Bad Bevensen with Hamburg and Uelzen at approximately every hour.

Bienenbüttel is about halfway between the two Hanseatic cities of Lüneburg and Uelzen. As idyllically as the community is embedded in the Lower Saxony cultural landscape - it is so well connected to the metropolises of Hamburg and Hanover:

A separate train station connects Bienenbüttel with the Hanover - Lüneburg - Hamburg line. In each direction the regional train "metronom" stops at least once an hour, in morning and evening rush hour traffic even every 30 minutes. Hamburg can thus be reached in approx. 45 minutes, Hanover in a good 1 hour.
