Les Machines de l'Île

Impressive machines - which are displayed here in a museum - but also around the museum. For example, the multi-level carousel or the traveling elephant, which can carry about 50 people.

What a great experience. The gallery is really worth seeing - it's unbelievable what was put together here. It's also worth reading a little of the information about the background (for example the plants) of the halls, if you're not too distracted by the machines.

In the gallery you can see various mechanical engineering studies and get them presented by so-called "machinists" (in French) .Very impressive and imaginative structures.

You pay for each attraction (Carousel, elephant ride, Valerie des Machines). Gallery or elephant ride cost € 8.50 (09/2019) and the Carousel € 6.90.
