Contis Plage, a real coastal jewel, approx. 20km south of Mimizan, is located on the river of the same name and has just 120 inhabitants. The small seaside resort on the French coast of Biscay lies behind an approximately 10m high dune. From here you have an unobstructed panoramic view of the sea, the beautiful dune landscape in the north and the huge pine forest with a lighthouse on the land side.
