The oldest town house in the city, built around 1585. As already mentioned, textiles were dyed blue here. In the Winsener Marstall Museum there are some examples of blue dyeing.

The town's oldest surviving town house is located on Luhestraße. The Blue Dyer's House on the so-called Luhe Island was built immediately after the great town fire of 1585. The gable is richly decorated with Renaissance motifs. The interior is not open to visitors.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winsen_(Luhe)
