With its grand old oaks and majestic hornbeams, Hoddesdon Park Wood is a wonderful woodland to explore. The Roman road Ermine Street passes nearby and the woodland is also home to a medieval moated enclosure.

Unlike many in the county, there are no bluebells here. However, in mid-April you can expect dazzling green and white carpets of wood anemones.
