Built on the site of the old stone mine by the same name, the tower offers great views of the surrounding countryside. It has a precarious staircase up the inside which allows access to the top of the tower. The stair ascent is dangerous and I wouldn't allow children to climb it without some sort of safety system.

This entrance is situated half way up the bank under the tower. It is barred at the moment with no possible access to the mine.

Not advisable to climbe the tower. There are not safety hand rails on the stairs.
