This has to be one of the longest single story buildings in the UK. The Ropewalk used to be a rope making factory and is now a visitor centre, cafe and museum.
Café does good meals, cakes and coffee. They even have place markers for solo travellers so that nobody pinches your table when you get up to order or go to the loo (great idea!).
