In order to keep the rising soil moisture as low as possible, the municipal council commissioned the installation of horizontal insulation in 2005. The insulation was completed by applying a special mortar and an additional insulation film. In order to accelerate the drying out of the masonry, the plaster was knocked off outside and inside above the horizontal insulation. In June 2008, the insulation seal was applied and the chapel colored.
