    You can reach the bridle path from Bad Rodach in the direction of Hoher Stein and then further in the direction of Veste Heldburg. You can also turn onto the bridle path from Gauerstadt via Billmuthausen. Or you follow the MDR circular route from Heldburg in the direction of Kuhsee to the Schnepfenbrunnen and on to the Veste. The bridle path is part of the MDR circular hiking trail and the Luther trail, not for nothing. There are benches and a shelter along the way. The bridle path ends at the Veste Heldburg, the castle museum - another highlight of your tour or circular hike. In front of the parking lot you have a very nice view of Heldburg.
