It can be reached by going down a dirt road closed to traffic, which branches off on the left from provincial 9 at the tenth bend, just before the San Marco 2000 Refuge, or starting from Caprile and walking up Valmora along the old Alta Via route. Mercatorum which connected Averara to Morbegno through the Verrobbio Pass
