Once a derelict village (all villagers died through a plague wave) since the middle ages - the church has recently been refurbished/rebuilt. There is also a modern stone circle just next to it. It is being used as a retreat and wedding venue.

Amazing story and it looks super interesting but it's not open to the public day-to-day. A bit of a waste of 15 minutes walking down the road to be faced with a locked gate.
