Hiking
Beautiful path along the Levada with beautiful views of Funchal and the nearest valley. Very good you can see the terraces built into the mountain slopes. If you go far enough, you will also come across a slope with grapevines that can be seen from the other side of the slope. Partly secured (railing), but partly also unsecured. A head for heights is an advantage.
