If this tour is too short, you can continue via Hützemert and Drolshagen to Olpe on the Biggesee. There is a good restaurant with a beer garden next to the outdoor pool. (Unfortunately the old train station in Hützemert is only open on weekends!)

Be sure to drive through in summer and reward yourself with a refreshing, cool air shower. Definitely ten degrees cooler and cave humid. The passage also works without lighting on the bike because the tunnel is illuminated.

"Bat Tunnel"
724 m is a must-do in the season. A real treat in midsummer when it's a cool 16-18 degrees in the tunnel. I had my phone camera running on the way back. It's really impressive🤙
