Vråby Plantation is one of several reforestation areas on the island of Rømø called plantations. You can also ride a bike on the forest roads and marked trails in the plantations. Cycling may be prohibited on some paths - there are signs there.

You can drive to Vråby Plantation on forest paths. In the far west the plantation borders on fields, while in the north there is dune heather. From the 18 m high "mountain" Stagebjerg you can see the original landscape of the island in an easterly direction. From here you can see the Vesterhede heath with open grassy areas and typical Rømø farms.
