In this building, inaugurated in 1902, there has always been a bank or savings bank.
Until 1971, Spare og Lånekassen for Horsens By og Omegn was located in the building. In 1971 it changed its name to Horsens Sparkasse. Since then there has been a merger with Den Jyske Sparekasse, which led to the bank changing its name to DK Sparekasse, which, however, was taken over by Bikuben. It was later called BG Bank before Den Danske Bank merged with BG Bank. It has been called Danske Bank since 2007.
