The trail from the Wildspitz to the east is very demanding, steep, interspersed with roots and steps and can only be ridden by very experienced bikers. If you don't want to drive, you can walk a few steps. It gets easier further down.

From Schwyzerbrugg the trail is marked as a hiking trail. It is a wide track up to 1100 m, with general ban on driving down from the forest entrance. Only the last 100 vertical meters to the ridge are an idyllic hiking trail.
