The Raichbergturm is an observation tower of the Schwäbischer Albverein on the 956 meter high Raichberg. The tower, 500 meters south of the eaves of the Swabian Jura, is in the district of Onstmettingen, a district of Albstadt in the Zollernalb district.
The 22 meter high tower was built in 1928 in full concrete together with the Nagelehaus hiking home on the highest hilltop of the Raichberg (956 m above sea level). The construction time for the house and tower was six months, the inauguration ceremony took place on August 11th and 12th, 1928 instead of. In the summer of 1936, a 63 meter high survey tower with an observation post and a wooden platform was erected. After only eight years of service, the wooden scaffolding was demolished again in 1944 as a result of severe weather damage. The tower was renovated in 1986 and repainted red in 2014.
