In the 15th century, masons and architects were particularly in demand for reconstruction after the Hundred Years' War. However, the Honfleur shipwrights were very eager to thank God for the departure of the English and they decided to build a church, almost exclusively of wood. The interior consists of two identical naves and two aisles. the wooden vault with exposed beams above each nave is supported by oak piers in the shape of an inverted ship's hull. the carved panels that decorate the gallery are from the 16th century. The beautiful organ dates from the 18th century. (Michelin)
