The Magnaghi cable is an important watercourse that crosses the Lomellina, it is used to irrigate the cultures found in the countryside of the province of Pavia. Once very fishy, you could find various types of freshwater fish such as trout and eels. The very cool waters even in summer allowed for refreshing baths.
