The channel that sits roughly in the middle of the Korrission Lagoon is nothing special in itself. The bridge over the canal consists of three logs and a handrail made of a thinner rope. The lagoon as such is the real highlight.

Hiking

The bridge is not for the anxious, boards are pretty rotten, everything seems to have been patched up very provisionally. Well, when in doubt you don't fall too deep ;-).
If you want to avoid the bridge and still want to experience the part of the hike with the great dunes, you should start at the other end

Hiking

The bridge has now been renewed as of May 2022 and even has a railing so that you can cross it safely. A new highlight is a pink armchair at the mouth of the river into the sea - a very cool photo location 😉
