The shorter section does not offer as many panoramic views, but it is much more interesting from a climbing point of view.

The crowning glory for a great via ferrata!

The second part of the Innsbruck via ferrata takes one hour plus breaks, 15 minutes ascent from the end of the first part and 1.5 hours descent to the Seegrube middle station. The times calculated by Komoot do not fit on the via ferrata. For both parts of the via ferrata from the Hafelekar mountain station to the Seegrube middle station, you should calculate a total of 8 hours including breaks.

The second part is slightly heavier than the first part and ends with a C/D wall. The via ferrata winds its way through a bizarre rock landscape with almost no stepping aids but well secured.
