Hiking

The simple wooden church built around 1705 was replaced in 1761 by a massive church. With the permission of the Duke of Württemberg Carl Eugen, Pastor Etienne Dejean collected the funds for the new church building mainly in the Reformed States, England, Holland and Switzerland. Even after several renovations, the original character of a Waldensian church was preserved. Father Jean Giraud compiled the first ecclesiastical registers of Pinache and Serres.
