Maria Hendrikapark

"Het Koninginnehof" is located in the middle of Maria Hendrikapark in Ostend. This park has beautiful hiking trails and 3 ponds. The restaurant is located on the island in the largest pond. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a drink, snacks, pasta, Flemish dishes, ice cream, pancakes and much more. on the huge terrace that can accommodate up to 400 people. In spring and summer there are several outdoor activities: a playground, a kart track, paddleboat, kayak or rowboat and mini golf.

This is a very nice and quiet park to relax and unwind

When it is too hot at the beach, you might cool off at this location. If you prefer to stay in close contact with the water: no probs. The tearoom in the centre of the park hires waterbikes. If your battery ran out of power, while the kids (with or without your spouse) are on the water, yoy might order an ice cream.
