The Zelzatebrug is a bridge in the Kanaalstraat in the Belgian Zelzate. The bridge spans the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal and forms the link between the eastern and western parts of Zelzate. It is part of the Ghent ring road, the R4, which is a local road within the built-up area. Most through traffic uses the Zelzatetunnel in the E34-A11, which is located further south. However, ADR traffic or traffic of hazardous substances is prohibited through the tunnel, so they still use the bridge. The bridge is also used for local traffic and as a diversion in the event of works or accidents in the tunnel.
