The ruins of the blast furnace plant in Bobrza were part of Stanisław Staszic's plan to industrialise the Kingdom of Poland, the plant was to house five furnaces with an unprecedented height of about 18 m. The entire plant was surrounded by a gigantic retaining wall 500 m long and 5 m wide at its thickest point. The construction of the plant was never completed, it was interrupted, among others, by the November Uprising of 1830.The place is also on the list of tourist badges:

It is worth stopping and walking around the ruins and the retaining wall, admiring this interesting place - the place makes a great impression. Just above the asphalt road there is a nice, homely restaurant - Dworek in Bobrza:
