Embedded in the machine there is an interesting mural painting on plastered stone representing two angels holding a picture - now stolen - of the Madonna del Piano, perhaps an original of the '600. At the top of the mural is painted the figure of the Eternal Father surrounded by cherubs, painted by the painter Carlo Rosa in the first half of the 1700s.
