Hiking

The Jewish cemetery dates from the 17th century. In the old Belecker Stadtbuch there is an entry from November 12, 1693, which documents the sale of a plot of land as a burial place - located on the outside of the city wall - to the Jew Lotar Hese. The cemetery was occupied in the 19th century and today has five tombstones (mazewot). The place documents the existence of a Jewish community in Belecke and their burial rites. The Jewish cemetery has been a listed building since 2002.
