Charleroi-Brussels Canal Cycle Path

I have just discovered this path which connects several towns all along the canal. In summer without much effort, smooth path. You can easily do tens of km, or even more. Pure pleasure!

The Charleroi-Brussels Canal is of historical-geographical importance for the development of coal mines and the metal industry in Belgium. With this route you get a taste of Belgium's past, but you also get to see a few remarkable constructions such as the technological masterpiece the Inclined Plane of Ronquières.

Because the ride runs 100% along the canal, you will not be bothered by climbing meters. The track is not in perfect condition everywhere, but it is paved everywhere.
