Next to the Kadoeterbos and surrounded by trees is the Kadoeterveld. These former agricultural fields were transformed into a nature reserve a few years ago.
This new nature, with ponds and swampy depressions, forms a transition from the Kadoeterbos to the open polder landscape. Plants and animals that already live in the Voorsterbos will have a larger habitat and will be able to maintain and spread better.
