The place Simmersbach is on a hill on the east side of which are the benches with table. The height acts as a kind of watershed. The Simmersbach runs towards Dietzhölze towards the west and the Perf gen Lahn runs towards the east. The slight rise must therefore be "climbed" from each side via the well-asphalted cycle path. From the rest area there is a view to the east.
