Hiking

The Uetersen wind farm has been in operation since 2001 and generates clean electricity for around 4,000 households. Since 2012, the majority of the Uetersen wind farm has belonged to Green Planet Projects GmbH, a subsidiary of the eco-energy provider Green Planet Energy. Green Planet Projects plans to replace the existing six wind turbines with four new, more powerful systems that can generate around four times more electricity on the same area.
