In this maritime theme park in the old fish auction house you can discover the hard life of the fishermen, the history of the port of Zeebrugge and life under the sea.

The steel submarine, once owned by the Russian Navy, measures 100 meters. For up to 90 days, the 75-strong crew had to get along here in a confined space. No easy living and working conditions. Today, the 1960 launched in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) launched submarine in the maritime theme park Seafront at anchor. But that's not all that the 20,000 square meter site has to offer. Around the old fish auction hall of Zeebrugge is an interactive exhibition on the history of the North Sea and the city of Bruges. The harsh life of the fishermen, the strategic importance of the port during the World Wars and everything worth knowing about the sea are brought closer to the visitor through video projections, models, photos and interactive computer animations.

You'll be guided through several themed halls that depict the history of fishing and the impact of the World Wars on Zeebrugge and the region. Finally, you'll descend into a Russian submarine.
