the San Giuliano park is a large urban park located in the municipality of Venice, in the locality of the same name. It overlooks the Venice lagoon, at the beginning of the Liberty bridge and not far from Marco Polo airport.
In addition to being an area of environmental and landscape recovery and one of the most important places for the study of the lagoon environment, it is proposed as a destination for sports and cultural activities for leisure. Created thanks to a European contribution, the San Giuliano park represents an ambitious project, being one of the most significant urban reconversion and environmental reclamation interventions in Italy for its complexity and articulation, as well as for its dimensional and territorial characteristics.
The San Giuliano park has an area of about 74 hectares [1].
