Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The Bleibtreusee is one of the Ville lakes, which originated after the lignite mining and has an area of approximately 74 ha. It is one of the Ville lakes, in which bathing is officially permitted. There is a beach and a water ski facility. The bathing pleasure is free of charge - however the neighboring parking lot in the season costs currently 3.50 € / day for passenger cars.
The trail is about 5 km long and runs mainly along the lake or through the forest on the lake. Even in summer - through the shade - a pleasant walk.

The water is clean throughout the lake. Provides different zones where the use is divided. The non-swimmers area is the most polluted on the sandy beach depending on the amount of visitors in summer. Otherwise you can divide the lake into different zones. And very good as a nature protection area classify despite the public free beach and the water ski facility is located opposite the lake on the left and right side also an ecological area and nature conservation area. Since the water is always in motion due to the use of water, the water can be distributed nicely into a small current and ensures that it no longer smells bad in some places, but always the right freshness in the most diverse places. A lake with so many possibilities of use is certainly not available in the Rhein Erft district.
