Inaugurated in 1936, Charleroi Town Hall is an exceptional art deco work in every way, from the use of noble materials to the imposing belfry, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through the monumental shape of the ensemble and the masterpieces that adorn the rooms and hallways. The entrance hall, the main staircase, the central well, the council chamber bear witness to the talent of the architect Joseph André who, surrounded by Belgian artists, gave this building its brilliance and elegance.

Charleroi Town Hall is the monumental town hall of the Belgian city of Charleroi. It was built in 1936 in an architectural style that combines features of classicism and art deco. The building has a 240-metre façade made of blue and white natural stone and red brick, and is flanked by the Belfry of Charleroi. This belfry is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town hall itself is protected as an exceptional patrimony by a decree of the Walloon Region.

Charleroi City Hall is an imposing, eclectic building combining classicism and Art Deco, inaugurated in 1936. The complex forms a large quadrangle, including a 70-meter-high belfry. Listed as a historical monument since 2001, this building is part of Wallonia's exceptional architectural heritage, and the belfry has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since December 1, 1999. The main façade faces Place Charles II, in the Upper Town district of Charleroi.
