The flood retention basin Eisenbach (also Eisenbachsee) is a 1.65 ha large reservoir in Baden-Württemberg (Germany), about 5 km southeast of Welzheim. It is located in the midst of the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park and is located on the district of Alfdorf in the Rems-Murr-Kreis at 450 m above sea level. NN. The lake was completed in 1961 by the water association Kocher-Lein, which was founded in 1957 as a result of recurring floods along the Lein in 1957. The Eisenbachsee is one of eleven storage and retention basins that the association still operates today. The lake fed by the eponymous Eisenbach has a catchment area of 7.4 km ² and a permanent storage area of approximately 1.65 ha. Through the 13.5 m high dam a maximum storage area of 11 ha can be achieved.

The Eisenbachsee, where there is also a kiosk, is designated as a swimming area and in the summer months a popular destination. There are extensive loungers around the lake, and the DLRG is on site during summer weekends. The lake is also the starting point of the Waldtierlehrpfad Eisenbachsee.
