Hiking

We ran the Remousse Viewpoint round of Grand Rivière Noire in April 2019, as suggested by Komoot, counterclockwise. Next time I would run the tour the other way round (clockwise): ie. Climb over the steeper Pilgrim Trail, which is more difficult due to larger stones and root system; Descend over the better developed Machabée Trail. When it comes to moisture, it is essential to wear non-slip shoes on the Pilgrim Trail. In case of heavy rain, I advise against using the Pilgrim Trail.
