Dachsbach Castle is the former residential tower of the moated castle on the western outskirts of Dachsbach in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Bavaria.
The complex is also called Wasserschloss Dachsbach and, because of its six-story construction, occasionally called the Hohes Haus. It is one of the landmarks of Dachsbach.

This castle is the landmark of Dachsbach. Actually, it is not a whole castle anymore, because only the residential tower of the former moated castle is left. The tower can not be visited, but it also looks very impressive from the outside.

The historical 🏰 can be seen from afar and is the landmark of Dachsbach.
In reality it is only the residential tower, the actual castle was destroyed several times, rebuilt, set on fire by Margrave Albrecht Alcibiades himself in 1553 and finally leveled to the ground in the Thirty Years' War. A few years ago the municipality partially renovated its landmark. It is occasionally used for cultural events (including civil weddings).
