The south bank with bathing beach and water skiing has been fenced off since 2023 and costs 3/5 of an entrance fee. Now the wild parties with ghetto blasters, fights and garbage can no longer take place there. Swimming accidents are prevented by supervision. The Egyptian geese and their offspring continue to spread unmoved in the complex.

Whether the serin and other songbirds migrated completely or just moved to the north bank has yet to be checked. At least I hear a polyphonic bird concert there. Unfortunately, on the paid beach you can hear the tack-tack of the tow rope and the boom-boom of the obstacles. That's why I won't go swimming there. But it's quieter in the remaining free bays in the northern half.

Entering the lake shore is prohibited, not due to landscape protection, but because of fenced private property, hence trespassing. However, the police rarely check in midsummer.

Unfortunately, it's not an insider tip in the summer, but rather overcrowded with bathers who leave their rubbish, party and park illegally in the country lanes. And things will get worse: a wakeboarding facility is under construction. A purely tourist project that we have absolutely no need for here and that burdens residents with traffic jams, noise and parking spaces.
