The "Molchner Stolln" show mine has been one of the oldest and most beautiful in the Ore Mountains since 1934. Silver, tin, copper and iron have been mined in the Molchner adit since 1491.
Here you can get an idea of the difficult work of the miners. It is driven in through the mouth hole from 1822 set in the wall. You will see ancient arch and cross vaults that have been dry set, geological outcrops, burnt extensions of tin mining, vein mining and much more. A functional piece of art is shown, as well as working with mallets and irons, as well as the frog lamp. In the bismuth part you experience modern mining as a stark contrast in a kind of journey through time.
