Ismaning Castle Park, popular with locals and visitors alike, is not only a green lung, but also an important cultural monument. In 1807 the formerly baroque park was redesigned into an English garden by the father of the Munich English Garden, Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell. The structures of the park and the route have been preserved to this day. The complex with the castle, park and outbuildings is a listed building as an ensemble. Today it is the political and cultural center of Ismaning. The palace, with its state rooms from 1835, serves as the town hall. Administration offices and meeting rooms of the municipal council are located in the coach building. The former gardener's house serves as a castle museum. The classical orangery houses the Kallmann Museum. Alternating art exhibitions take place in the palace pavilion.
