Connecting Cognin-les-Gorges to Malleval-en-Vercors, in the Vercors massif, the Nan Gorges are a canyon through which the Nan River flows.
A cantilevered road clinging to the rock face, it features three tunnels spread over 200 meters and requires no lighting.
Beyond the gorges, the road leads to the Malleval cirque. The Nan Gorges are a designated Sensitive Natural Area.
