Nice descent towards the coast

Easy and shady climb up to Montenero, with the possibility of visiting the famous Sanctuary (the Madonna di Montenero is the patron saint of Tuscany) and enjoying a magnificent view over the city, the coast, the islands and the Pisan mountains; in the clearest days we can distinguish Corsica, the Apuan Alps and the Apennines.
After climbing up to Castellaccio, a steep descent leads to the SS 1 (Aurelia) at the Romito locality and its Sonnino Castle
