Payolle Lake is a magnificent artificial mountain lake. Nestled at the foot of a beautiful fir forest, it is dominated by the Pic du Midi which stands in the background. This lake suggests a nice break at the foot of the Col d'Aspin and Hourquette d'Ancizan ascents.
