The views from Mirador de la Reina are absolutely stunning. You can see the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as the winding road that leads to the viewpoint. Due to its popularity, the viewpoint can get very crowded during the peak tourist season. It is best to arrive early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds.

Back from the lakes of Covadonga you can stop at the viewpoint of the queen, located on the left bank of the road to the lakes, with 910 meters of altitude, this viewpoint is a fantastic balcony to enjoy the view offered by the council from the Asturian town of Cangas de Onís with the northern mountains of the Picos de Europa, the plains of Güeña and the Cantabrian coast, an observation point of scavenger birds.
