In 1788, during the reign of Emperor Joseph II, it was abandoned and the furnishings were moved to the chateau church in Běšiny, and the church was demolished in the 19th century.

The ruins of the church have survived to this day.

The neighborhood of the church has been inhabited since around 1588. It was a hermitage and several homesteads. The area was sparsely populated until 1960.
