Lots of cobblestones. Closed to motor vehicles. Heide Express in the season, can be reached on foot or by bike with carriages.
A few bars, knick-knack shops, etc. With its old thatched houses and sheep pens as well as the heath museum "Dat ole Huus", the historic place is like a living museum village.
The Wilseder Berg directly near Wilsede is the highest elevation in the northwest German lowlands at 169.2 m.
