Castelnuovo Cilento is a small medieval village of Cilento of almost 3,000 souls. The village, as mentioned, is located on top of a hill about 280 meters above sea level. The Municipality is located in a strategic position, between the municipalities of Vallo Della Lucania, Ascea, Casal Velino, Ceraso and Salento, with a suggestive view over the Cilento coast.
